Wildcat Soccer set to take on NAU

Weber State soccer is headed to Flagstaff, Arizona to take on the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks on September 29 at 8 pm MT. The match will be streamed on ESPN +.

The 0-7-2 Wildcats most recently fell to the Eastern Washington Eagles 1-2 on September 24 at Wildcat Soccer Field. Sayler Schlosser scored the lone goal against the Eagles off of an assist from Grace Kirby.

Schlosser and Kirby are now tied at three a piece for goals on the season, leading the team. Tayiah Lambert was the keeper for the 'Cats recording 3 saves on the day.

The reigning 2022 Big Sky Champions, the Lumberjacks, are currently 5-3-3 after coming off of a 0-0 draw against Portland State on September 24.

In the 2022 season, NAU finished 7-1 following Weber State handing them their only loss in conference play.

The overall series between the two squads is 17-10 with Weber State having the advantage. However, the 'Cats most recently fell to the 'Jacks in 2022 at the Big Sky Conference tournament in a penalty shootout.

Following their match against NAU, the 'Cats will stay on the road and travel to the University of Northern Colorado and take on the Bears on October 1.
