Wildcat Cross County take 12th at Notre Dame Invitational

Weber State finished 12th as a team at the Notre Dame Invitational on September 29 with a total of 279 points.Â
Kevin Kirk was the first Wildcat to cross with finish line finishing 35th with a time of 24:10.1, Peter Visser wasn't far behind; finishing 36th with a time of 24:10.5, Taylor Knight finished 57th with a time of 24:30.8, Wesley Kallgren finished 63rd at 24:33.1, Bronson Winter finished 97th with a time of 25:05.8 and Carson Horspool rounded out the 'Cats at 99th and a time of 25:07.7.Â
Colter Blanchard and Nathaniel Garner did not start the race.Â
"We had some very strong individual performances today," head coach Corbin Talley said. "Peter and Kevin ran very strong, leading the way for us and finishing in the top 40. I was really pleased with the way that Taylor and Wes moved up throughout the race. We beat some very good teams but we also know we can get stronger over the next four weeks before the conference championships."Â
Following their trip to South Bend, Indiana, the 'Cats will stay instate and run at the Utah State Invitational on October 6.
