Wildcats fall 74-64 to Idaho State

OGDEN - Idaho State scored the final 10 points of the game and defeated Weber State 74-64 Saturday night at the Dee Events Center.
The Bengals had a 14-1 run in the first half and led by as many as 14 points at 34-20. Weber State closed the half on a 9-1 run to make it a 35-29 ISU lead at halftime.
Early in the second half, WSU had a 7-0 run and took a 45-44 lead. With the game tied at 48, Idaho State went on a 13-3 run and held a 61-51 lead. WSU rallied and tied the game at 64 with 3:22 to play but the Bengals closed the game on a 10-0 run to secure the win.
Idaho State shot 50 percent from the field, compared to 43 percent for Weber State. The Bengals outrebounded the Wildcats 38-26 and had 16 assists. Idaho State also scored 40 points in the paint.
Dillon Jones had his 13th double-double of the season as he finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds. He also had five assists and four steals.
Dyson Koehler finished with 14 points and six rebounds and Blaise Threatt added 13 points.
Weber State is now 12-9 overall and 3-5 in conference play. The Wildcats hit the road for two games next week, playing at Northern Arizona on Thursday and at Northern Colorado on Saturday.
