STILLWATER, Minn. – Weber State shot a three-round total of 927 to finish in seventh place as the Tommie Invitational wrapped up on Tuesday afternoon at Stoneridge Golf Club.
North Dakota State took the team title, shooting 873 for a nine shot margin of victory over tournament-host St. Thomas-Minnesota. Northern Iowa was another three shots back of the Tommies in third place at 885.
Weber State was led by Bobby Kincaid, who shot rounds of 77, 73 and 75 for a 9-over par 225 to tie for 19th place overall.
Ty Anderson posted rounds of 80, 73 and 76 to shoot a 13-over par 229 to tie for 31st, while Matthew Wilson tied for 44th on rounds of 73, 79 and 82.
Cormack Goecke shot 83-72-84 to tie for 53rd overall, and Luke Smith shot 83-79-84 to finish in 60th.
The tournament was the program's first foray into Summit League competition since moving to the conference from the Big Sky over the summer. Summit League teams in the event included North Dakota, North Dakota State, Omaha, St. Thomas, and South Dakota.
