Weber State hosts Adams State Monday at 7 p.m. at the Dee Events Center and admission is free.
It's almost time for Wildcat basketball.Â
The Weber State men's basketball team will host Adams State in a free exhibition game on Monday, October 28, before the 2024-25 season starts.Â
Tipoff is at 7 p.m. Monday at the Dee Events Center and admission is free to all fans.Â
There will be no streaming and no radio broadcast of Monday's game but live stats will be available at WeberStateSports.com and the Weber State Wildcats app.Â
It's a new squad for the Wildcats after last year's 20-win season, led by Big Sky MVP Dillon Jones who was drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft.Â
Head coach Eric Duft returns for his third season as head coach of the Wildcats and brings back three starters off last year's team Blaise Threatt, Dyson Koehler, and Alex Tew. Weber State also added seven new players, including three Division I transfers.Â
Among the transfers is senior Miguel Tomley who was named to the Big Sky preseason All-Conference team. Â
Adams State is a Division II school located in Alamosa, Colorado. The Grizzlies were 8-20 last season and 6-16 in conference play. Adams State was picked 13th in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference preseason poll.
After Monday's exhibition game, the regular season begins on Monday, November 4 with a home game against Northwest Indian College. The Wildcats have 16 games at home this season, including non-conference games against UC Irvine, North Dakota State, and Utah Valley.Â
Season tickets for Wildcat basketball are on sale now. Â
