Wildcats are home again Monday night

Weber State hosts Justice College on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Dee Events Center.

• Weber State is right back home Monday night to host Justice College at the Dee Events Center.  

 

• The Wildcats and Lions will tipoff at 7 p.m. on Monday night. The game will be televised on ESPN+ and the ESPN app with Tony Parks and former Weber State head coach Joe Cravens on the call. The Weber State radio broadcast will be on 103.1 FM "The Wave" with Carl Arky and former Weber State player and Big Sky MVP David Patten on the call.

• Weber State is 1-4 on the season. The Wildcats are coming off a 93-87 loss to UC Irvine at home on Friday night. The 'Cats made 13 3-pointers in the game but couldn't overcome a late second half run by the Anteaters who shot 51 percent from the field. 

 

Blaise Threatt led the Wildcats in scoring for the fourth straight game Friday night as he finished with 22 points, along with six assists and three steals. Through five games, Threatt ranks third in the Big Sky in scoring at 18 points per game, and is second in steals, fourth in assists, and fifth in field goal percentage. 

 

Dyson Koehler added 17 points against UC Irvine, his second time in double figures this season. He is second on the team at 10.8 points per game and is shooting 41 percent from 3-point range.

 

• Justice College is located in Chandler, Arizona and are members of the National Christian College Athletic Association. The Lions enter Monday's game with a 1-7 record. They beat West Coast Baptist 121-62 last Monday, then lost 72-48 at Western Colorado on Friday. 

 

• This is the first ever meeting between Weber State and Justice College. 

 

• Up next the Wildcats will play two games at the Arizona Tip-Off this weekend in Tempe. WSU will play Bowling Green on Friday at 11 a.m. then play Pepperdine or new Mexico State on Saturday.
