Weber State rolls to 128-58 win over Lincoln

Wildcats knocked down 17 3-pointers and seven players scored in double figures.
OGDEN - Weber State had seven players score in double figures and rolled to 128-58 win over Lincoln University Wednesday night at the Dee Events Center.Â
The 128 points is tied for the second-most in a game in school history and the 70-point win is tied for the fifth-largest margin of victory.Â
The Wildcats knocked down 17 3-pointers with nine players making at least one 3-pointer. WSU shot a season-best 62 percent from the field and held the Oaklanders to 30 percent shooting. Weber State also outrebounded Lincoln 62-25 as the 'Cats had their most rebounds in a game in nine years.Â
WSU jumped out to a 25-4 lead just six minutes into the game. The 'Cats led 73-29 at halftime and the lead was never less than 47 in the second half.Â
All 12 Wildcats that played in the game scored at least five points each and seven scored in double figures.Â
Blaise Threatt once again led the Wildcats in scoring with 18 points and had a team-high 10 rebounds for his second career double-double. He also had four assists and two steals. Â
Nemanja Sarenac had a career-high 17Â points and was 6 of 8 from the field, including 5 of 7 from 3-point range. His cousin Marko Sarenac was also 6 of 8 from the field and scored 15 points with seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.Â
Miguel Tomley had 13 points with three 3-pointers. Nigel Burris and Trevor Hennig each had 12 points and Alex Tew added 10 points with all five field goals coming as dunks.Â
The Wildcats will be right back home again on Saturday night for an instate battle with Utah Valley. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Dee Events Center.Â
