Wildcats fall short against Dons

San Francisco, CA — The Wildcats fell short on the road in San Francisco earlier this morning by a score of 5-2
In singles play, Jordan Coutinho and Elyes Marouani were able to push their matches into the third set before ultimately falling short. Marouani won by a final of 2-6, 6-2, 4-6 and Coutinho by a final of 6-3, 0-6, 5-7. Connor Kruger was able to secure a singles point for the 'Cats winning his match in two sets 6-3, 7-6.
The Wildcats were able to secure the doubles point behind strong play from the combinations of Marouani/Sarap and Minh/Savio. Marouani and Sarap took the No. 1 doubles 6-3 and Minh and Savio were able to win the No. 3 doubles 6-2 to clinch the second team point for the 'Cats
The team will now head from Northern California down to the Central Valley of California as they will travel to take on Pacific University on Tuesday at 1:00pm. Pacific comes into the match sporting a record of 6-1.
