Wildcats leave California with multiple PRs and All-Time performances

The Wildcats competed between the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Long Beach Invitational this past weekend with a handful of all-time performances and personal bests.
"It wasn't the typical ideal California weather, but it was an excellent opportunity to compete against many of the best in the NCAA," head coach Corbin Talley said. "I thought our guys showed a lot of fight."
Peter Visser moved into fifth on Weber State's All-Time in the 5000 meter run with a time of 13:57.29.
Kelton Gagnon moved into fifth on the all-time list in the 1500 meter with a time of 3:44.42.
Rodee Brow moved into tenth on the all-time list with a 47.42 finish in the 400 meter dash and Colby Anderson finished with a time of 48.93.
Kale Thomas recorded a first place finish in the high jump with a mark of 6-6.Â
Josh Trafny finished seventh in the javelin with a mark of 226-03 and Cody Canard finished tenth with a mark of 220-03.
Bronson Winter recorded a time of 3:48.02 in the 1500 meter run invite, Joe Corbridge recorded a first place finish in the open 1500 meter run with a time of 3:53.26, Carson Horspool finished with a time of 4:00.78 and Nathaniel Garner finished at 4:00.89.Â
Taylor Knight recorded a personal best in the 10,000 meters with a time of 29:43.69 and a sixth place finish.Â
Both Winter and Wesley Kallgren recorded a personal best in the 5,000 meter, Winter finished with a time of 14:16.42 and Kallgren finished with a time of 14:23.11.
Bryson Cortes, Amari Adams, Tristan Spalding and Brow finished the 4x100 with a time of 41.88.Â
Corbridge ran a PR in the 800 meter with a time of 1:50.90, Hanokh Gailson finished with a time of 1:55.00, Colter Blanchard finished at 1:55.13 and Alex Harbertson finished at 1:58.00.Â
Xakai Harry recorded a mark of 23-04.75 in the long jump.
Spalding, Brow, Colby Anderson, Malik Johnson ran a 3:17.56 in the 4x400 relay.Â
"Overall it was a solid few days. We still have plenty to work on and can keep getting better," Talley said. "But the efforts were there and they are invested. I just want to keep seeing teamwork and personal bests."
The 'Cats will be between California and Utah next week for the Mt. Sac Relays and Aggie Invitational.Â
