Wildcat Soccer is back in Utah and set to take on the Utes

The 'Cats are back in Utah and set to take on the University of Utah on September 1 at 6 pm at Ute Field.

Currently at 0-3-2, the Wildcats most recently fell 0-4 to Texas Tech University on August 29.

Time in the net has been split between Hadley Harris and Maya Cordova. Most recently against the Masked Raiders, Harris recorded four saves and Cordova recorded three.

Sammie Sofonia leads the squad with 15 shots and Ali Swensen is close behind with 11. Swensen is currently the lone goal scorer for the 'Cats with three.

The Utes are currently 1-1-1 coming off of an 0-2 loss against Utah State on August 28.

The overall record between the two squads is 3-12-2, the 'Cats most recently tied the Utes 1-1 in their 2023 match up at Wildcat Soccer Field.

The match will be streamed on ESPN +.

Following their trip to Salt Lake, the 'Cats will be home to take on Pacific on September 5 at 7 pm.
