Wildcat Soccer records first win of the season

Weber State Soccer recorded their first win of the season against North Dakota State on September 12. A late goal from Amanda Caswell secured a win for the 'Cats.
The Wildcats are now 1-5-3 on the season.
In total, the 'Cats finished the match with 16 shots with 12 being on target in comparison to the Bisons 10 shots with 4 on target.
Sayler Schlosser led the 'Cats in the first half with two goals and four of the six shots the Wildcats recorded. Schlosser's first goal was off of an assist from Hannah Kallias and the second goal was off of an assist Ali Swensen.
The Bison weren't able to crack the 'Cats defense and didn't record a shot in the first half.
NDSU was able to tie the match at 2-2 with both goals from Devon Kavanagh.
Caswell scored the game winner off of an unassisted goal at 77:31 and then scored a second goal off of an assist from Swensen at 84:04.
The Wildcats switched 'keepers at the half, Maya Cordova didn't face any shots in the first half and Annika Franz was the 'keeper for the second half. Franz recorded three saves.
The 'Cats will be back home to host Utah State on September 15 at 4 pm at Wildcat Soccer Field. The match will also be streamed on ESPN+.
