Threatt led all scorers with 22 points and was WSU's top rebounder with seven rebounds. He was 8 of 16 from the field, including two 3-pointers, and also dished out four assists.

Threatt has scored in double figures in all of his 18 games this season and has now reached 20 or more points five times. He now ranks second in the Big Sky Conference in scoring at 17.2 points per game. He is also second in the league in steals, third in minutes played, fourth in assist to turnover ratio, fifth in assists, and eighth in minutes played.

• Weber State is 7-3 this season when leading in field goal percentage but 0-10 when trailing in field goal percentage. The 'Cats are also 5-2 when leading in rebounding but 2-10 when trailing. The 43 rebounds by Portland State in Thursday's game was the most allowed by the Wildcats in a game this season.

• The Wildcats are 6-6 when scoring 70 or more points in a game this season but just 1-7 when scoring less than 70 points. On defense, WSU is 5-2 when holding opponents under 70 points but just 2-11 when allowing opponents to reach 70 or more points.

• Sacramento State enters Saturday afternoon's game with a 6-13 overall record and a 2-4 mark in conference play. The Hornets started the year with a 2-9 record, but have since gone 4-4. They started conference play with a home win over Portland State and are coming off a 75-71 home win over Idaho State on Thursday night.

• This will be the 62nd all-time meetings between Weber State and Sacramento State with Weber State holding a 50-11 series lead. The two teams split the series last year but Weber State has won eight of the last nine and nine of the last 11 games against the Hornets.

In games in Sacramento, Weber State is 22-8 all-time. WSU has won four of the last five games at the Nest but the Hornets beat the 'Cats 71-69 last season.

• The Wildcats are coached by Eric Duft who returns for his third season as head coach and his 19th season overall at Weber State. He spent 16 seasons as an assistant coach under Randy Rahe before becoming the 10th head coach in WSU history in May 2022.
