Ogden, UT - Weber State soccer will close out the regular season against Idaho State on Sunday before heading into the Big Sky Conference Tournament.
The Wildcats, 10-6-1 (4-2-1), went 1-1 last weekend, tying the Lumberjacks in Flagstaff and defeating the UNC Bers 1-0 in Greeley. The 'Cats became the first team in the state of Utah to reach 10 wins and reached the double-digit mark for the first time since 2021.
The final stop will be in Pocatello, Idaho, where they will take on the Idaho State Bengals. The Bengals come into Sunday afternoon with a 5-7-4 record and are 4th in the Big Sky.Â
This will be the 32nd time that the two programs have squared off, with the Wildcats leading the all-time series 17-8-6. The 'Cats have won their last 5 in a row against the Bengals, going back to 2016.Â
The 'Cats are looking to clinch the number two seed and a bye in the Big Sky Tournament in Missoula. Heading into the tournament, the Wildcats will be, at worst, the number 3 seed.Â
It will be the first time that the Wildcats have made the tournament since 2022, when they fell to Northern Arizona in penalty kicks in the semifinal round.Â
