It's time for Wildcat basketball!

Weber State will begin the 2025-26 season with an exhibition game on Wednesday night at the Dee Events Center.

The Wildcats will host Colorado Christian on Wednesday at 7 p.m., and admission is free to all fans.

There will be no streaming and no radio broadcast of Monday's game, but live stats will be available at WeberStateSports.com and the Weber State Wildcats app.

Colorado Christian is a Division II school located in Lakewood, Colorado, and plays in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

This will be the only exhibition game before Weber State begins the regular season next Monday night at home.

Head coach Eric Duft returns for his fourth season as head coach and his 20th year on the coaching staff at Weber State.

The Wildcats return four players who played last season: senior Nigel Burris, junior Viljami Vartiainen, and sophomores Declan Cutler and Trevor Hennig. Also returning is David Hansen, who red shirted last season.

Weber State added eight new scholarship players, including four transfers. The Wildcats added Division I transfers of junior center Malek Gomma from Seattle University and junior guard Jace Whiting from UNLV and Boise State.

WSU also added a Division II transfer guard Tijan Saine Jr., a transfer from Western Washington, and Edwin Suarez Jr., a Junior College All-American transfer from Arizona Western.

The 'Cats also added four high school freshmen in ArDarius Grayson, Anthony Moore, Duce Paschal, and Bourgeois Tshilobo.

The regular season begins on Monday, November 3, with a home game against West Coast Baptist. Weber State will play 16 regular season home games, including a home tournament. WSU will have seven non-conference regular season home games, including five Division I non-conference home games, the most in 13 years.

After the home opener, the 'Cats play at Utah, Utah State, and UC Irvine.

The Wildcats will host the Junction City Jam Tournament from November 19-22 at the Dee Events Center, the first preseason home tournament Weber State has hosted since 1991. WSU will play Campbell on Wednesday, November 19, and host UT Arlington on Saturday, November 22. Campbell and UT Arlington will also play on Friday, November 21.

Other non-conference games at home include Kansas City, Oral Roberts, and Utah Tech, with road games at St. Thomas, Kansas City, and Utah Valley.

The 18-game Big Sky Conference regular season will begin on January 1, when the 'Cats open the new year hosting Portland State. The final home games will be February 19 and 21 against Montana State and Montana, respectively, and the regular season will conclude on March 2 at Portland State.

The Big Sky Tournament will be held March 7-11 in Boise, Idaho.
