The Wildcats resume tournament play tomorrow against Oregon and Arizona State.

PHOENIX - Weber State softball opened the Littlewood classic this Thursday evening against the Grand Canyon Lopes. Securing an opening pitch home run, the Wildcats were unable to build on that and fell 9-1 in five innings. 

Weber State 1, Grand Canyon 9 (5 Inn.)
  • To start off the game, a Riley Whalen home run put the Wildcats on the board first. 
  • A short lived lead, the Lopes responded with six runs in the bottom of the first. 
  • Totaling another three in the fourth inning, Grand Canyon secured the win 9-1.
