Wildcats close out weekend with loss to Trailblazers

ST. GEORGE -Â Weber State softball closed out the weekend with a 5-0 loss to the Utah Tech Trailblazers.

- The Trailblazers wasted no time getting things going, putting a run on the board on the eighth pitch of the contest.Â
- Later in the second inning, Utah Tech brought in two more runs off a walk and fly out to center field.Â
- In the fourth inning, Utah Tech tacked on two more runs courtesy of a double to center field for two RBI.
- Taking the loss, Joslyn Veltien spent 1.0 innings in the circle for Weber State.
- The Wildcats only hit came from Sadie Kirk.
- Gianna Memoli recorded five putouts against the Trailblazers.Â
