Wildcats close out weekend with loss to Trailblazers

ST. GEORGE - Weber State softball closed out the weekend with a 5-0 loss to the Utah Tech Trailblazers.

The Trailblazers wasted no time getting things going, putting a run on the board on the eighth pitch of the contest.
Later in the second inning, Utah Tech brought in two more runs off a walk and fly out to center field.
In the fourth inning, Utah Tech tacked on two more runs courtesy of a double to center field for two RBI.
Taking the loss, Joslyn Veltien spent 1.0 innings in the circle for Weber State.
The Wildcats only hit came from Sadie Kirk.
Gianna Memoli recorded five putouts against the Trailblazers.
