Wildcats finish strong at Riverfront Invitational

The Wildcats wrapped up another weekend of action at the Riverfront Invitational & Multis in Spokane, Washington from Feb 7-8.Â
The 'Cats sent a small group of athletes from the throwing squad.Â
"Overall I was happy with how the meet went," assistant coach Josh Aydlette, said. "While we've got some some things to clean up, I saw a lot of improvements that shows we're going in the right direction."Â
Jake Weathers recorded a 13th place finish in the weight throw with a mark of 53-09.00 and Ryan Johnson finished 15th at 53-01.50 and a PR.Â
"I was also happy to see Ryan Johnson finally break through and gete a personal best in the weight throw," Aydlette said.
The 'Cats will be back in action next week between the Boston University Valentine Invitational on Feb. 14 and the Mountain State Games hosted by Idaho State University on Feb. 14-15.
