Weber State closed out the UTSA Invitational 3-2 on the weekend.

SAN ANTONIO - Weber State softball fell in the championship game to the UTSA Roadrunners 5-0 on Sunday afternoon. 

Weber State 0, UTSA 5
  • Scoreless until the fourth inning, UTSA got on the board following a home run by the Roadrunners Madrid. 
  • To increase that lead in the bottom of the fifth, UTSA totaled four runs. 
  • Unable to recover from the advantage, the Wildcats fell 5-0 to the Roadrunners. 
  • Jayci Finch took the loss as she pitched 4.1 innings.
