Wildcats to head to Lincoln

Ogden, UT - Weber State soccer will hit the road again. This time, heading to the Cornhusker State to take on the namesake Nebraska Cornhuskers on Thursday.
The Wildcats will head to Lincoln fresh off a 2-0 homestand and riding a three-game winning streak. The 'Cats took down CSU Bakersfield 2-1 on Thursday and NDSU 3-1 on Sunday to cap off the perfect weekend.
Nebraska enters Thursday with a record of 1-0-2, following its last result, a 1-1 tie against Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Their victory on the season came in the season opener in a 6-0 defeat of Southern Indiana
The Cornhuskers finished the 2024 campaign with a record of 6-10-1 and a 3-7-1 mark in Big 10 conference play. They were picked to finish 12th of 18 teams in the preseason Big 10 conference poll.
This will be the 2nd time that the Wildcats and Cornhuskers have matched up in their history, with the Cornhuskers taking the lone game. That victory came in 2022 in Lincoln as the Huskers beat the 'Cats 3-1.
