Wildcats open season with exhibition against Snow

Ogden, UT - The Weber State Women's Soccer team will open up their 2025 campaign with an exhibition match against the Snow College Badgers on Thursday, August 7th. The match will begin at 7 p.m. at the Wildcat Soccer Field
It is a new era for Wildcat Soccer as Kyle Christensen takes over as the 5th Head Coach in program history following a 2-13-5 record in 2024.
Christensen comes to Ogden by way of Utah Valley, where he worked as the associate coach and recruiting coordinator for the Wolverines. Rounding out his staff are Colette Smith and former Wildcat goalie Mekell Moss.
The Wildcats boast 5 seniors, including Utah State transfer Tenzi Knowles and All-Conference honoree Sammie Sofonia.
This will be the first matchup between the Badgers and the Wildcats in program history
Following the exhibition, the Wildcats will travel to the Pacific Northwest to take on Oregon and Oregon State on August 14th and 17th, respectively.
The next home game will be August 21st when the Wildcats welcome Cal State Bakersfield at 7 p.m.
