‘Cats head north to play Aggies

Ogden, UT - Weber State soccer will head up north to take on the Utah State Aggies on Thursday at the Chuck and Gloria Bell Soccer Field. The match will begin at 7:00 p.m.
The Wildcats, 4-2, are coming off a victory against another Mountain West foe with a 2-0 decision over Boise State last Thursday. Freshman Lauren Butorac was named Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week for the first clean sheet of her career in the match.
The Aggies come into Thursday with a 1-2-2 mark to begin their 2025 season. Their last result was a 2-0 loss to #11 BYU on Saturday, September 6th.
In 2024, Utah State set a program record with 18 wins and clinched both the regular-season and tournament titles in the Mountain West. They fell in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to Washington in penalty kicks.
Thursday will be the 21st time the two programs will meet on the pitch, with Utah State leading the series 13-6-1. The last victory for the 'Cats came in 2013 with a 1-0 decision in Logan.
