Jae Macias - 60m - 6.75 (Also the Freshman Record)
Larkins' mark broke the 21-year old record set in 2005 and his own Freshman record he set earlier this season.Â
"Awesome to see Wyatt Larkins get our school record in the weight throw as a true freshman. He's got an amazing future," Head Coach Corbin Talley said. "Likewise, really excited about Jae Macias 60 meter dash for a new freshman record and school record."
"We had some excellent performances this weekend," Sprint Coach Tawnie Moore said. "It's always great to see the pieces come together, and the work we've been putting in is paying off for our sprinters. With two WSU all time marks, a school record and a freshman record in the 60m dash, we are very excited and are looking forward to the next few weeks of competition to continue building on top of our progress this season."
