2008 (Senior)
Brittney started all
34 matches and played in all 135 sets for the Wildcats during her senior
season, one of four Wildcats to appear in all 135 sets...Played in every set in
each of her junior and senior seasons and missed just one set in each of her
final three seasons...Served as Co-Captain for the Wildcats during the 2008
season, along with fellow senior, and first cousin Leah Burmeister...Finished
her career as Weber State’s and the Big Sky Conference’s all-time leader in
career total blocks...Recorded 657 career total blocks, breaking the record set
by Lisa Couch of Portland State with 636 blocks in 1985...Finished her career
with 580 career block assists, also a Weber State and Big Sky record...Is WSU’s
career leader in total blocks by 168 blocks...Also has 153 more block assists
than the second place player in WSU history...Ranks seventh in Weber State
history with 77 career solo blocks...Has the second best career hitting
percentage in school history at .305...Tied Burmeister with 124 career matches,

the Big Sky All-Conference First Team, becoming just the seventh player in
school history to be named to the First Team...Averaged 1.32 blocks per set
during the season, best in the Big Sky...Averaged 1.35 blocks per set in Big Sky
matches...Had a season-high of ten blocks in WSU’s win over Northern Colorado
October 10...Posted a hitting percentage of .349, which led the conference and
ranked as the fourth best percentage in WSU single-season history...Hit .366 in
Big Sky matches...Hit a season-best of .593 in WSU’s win over UTEP September 13...Averaged
2.76 kills per set, second best on the team, and the eighth best in the Big Sky...Had
22 matches of ten or more kills, giving her 50 for her career...Tied her
career-high with 18 kills in WSU’s win over UTEP...Was named Big Sky Player of
the Week three times during the season, the first Wildcat to ever earn the
award three times during the same season...Has four career Big Sky Player of the
Week honors, the most in Weber State history...Was named Tournament MVP of the
Gonzaga Classic after leading the Wildcats to the tournament title...Was also
named to the All-Tournament Team of the Arizona Wildcat Classic.
2007 (Junior)
Brittney started all
29 matches and was one of just three players that played in every game during
the season...She was named to the Big Sky All-Conference Second Team for the
first time in her career...Finished the year fourth in the Big Sky in blocks
with an average of 1.35 per game...Posted 153 total blocks during the season,
the eighth best in Weber State single-season history...She now has three spots
on the single-season top ten list...Totaled 17 solo blocks and 136 block
assists, the sixth most block assists in a season in WSU history...Ranked third
in the conference in hitting percentage at .317, the fourth best hitting
percentage in a season in school history...Averaged 2.57 kills per game and
posted a career-best 290 kills during the season, the third most kills on the
WSU squad...Posted double-digits in kills in 15 matches this season and has now
done so in 28 career matches...Posted a career-high 18 kills in WSU’s win at
Idaho State on September 21...Recorded a career-high of 17 blocks in Weber
State’s 3-2 win at Sacramento State on November 2...In that match she had 16
block assists, a school record for most block assists in a match...The 17 total
blocks is the second most ever in a match in school history...She also recorded
16 kills in the match for her second double-double of the season and the fourth
of her career...For performance that we she was named the Big Sky Co-Player of
the Week...Was named to the All-Tournament Team of the North Florida Labor Day
Classic, after helping Weber State win three matches at the tournament.
2006 (Sophomore)
Brittney appeared in
all 33 matches as a sophomore for the Wildcats and was the only player that
started every match...Played in 119 of 120 games, the most games played by any
player during the season...Finished third in the Big Sky in blocks with an average
of 1.41 blocks per game. Finished the season with 168 total blocks, the fifth
most in Weber State single-season history and had 146 block assists, the second
most ever in a season...Had season-highs of 10 blocks in a match twice during
the season, vs. IPFW and Portland State...Had 223 kills for an average of 1.87
per game and hit .226 on the season...Had double digits in kills in six matches
during the season, including three of the last five matches...Tied a
season-high with 14 kills and hit .545 November 2 in Weber State’s 3-1 win over
Idaho State...Was second on the WSU team in aces with 27.
2005 (Freshman)
Was one of the top
freshmen in the Big Sky...Was one of two Wildcats to earn Big Sky
All-Conference Honorable Mention honors...Was one of the top blockers in the
Big Sky and in the nation...Played in 28 matches during the year and saw action
in 107 games...Had 158 total blocks on the year for an average of 1.48 per
game, second best in the Big Sky, and in the top 25 in the nation in
blocks...Her total of 158 blocks is the sixth most total blocks in WSU
single-season history...Had 144 block assists, the second most in WSU
single-season history...Had double-figures in blocks four times during the
year...Also had a hitting percentage of .310, the fifth best hitting percentage
in any season...Ranked sixth in the Big Sky in hitting percentage...Averaged
2.23 kills per game and had a career-high of 16 twice during the year...Had two
double-doubles.
