Caitlyn returns as one of five seniors on this year’s Wildcats squad. She is WSU’s career leader in digs and has appeared in 96 career matches at Weber State.
2008 (Junior)
Caitlyn appeared in all 34 matches and all 135 sets for the Wildcats during the season, one of just four players to play in every set during the year...Finished the season eighth in the Big Sky in digs with an average of 3.81 per set...After three years with the Wildcats Caitlyn holds every major dig record in Weber State history...During the season she became the school’s all-time leader in career digs and now has 1,271 career digs in 96 career matches at Weber State...This season she posted 514 digs, a new Weber State single-season record...She now has two of the top three single-season dig records...In 2007 she set the individual school match record and the season dig average record...She has a career dig average of 3.50 digs per set...As a junior she posted ten or more digs in 29 of WSU’s 34 matches, including a streak of 23 straight matches with ten or more...She has posted ten or more digs in 64 of her 96 career matches...During the 2008 season she also had six matches with 20 or more digs, giving her 16 matches for her career...Posted a season-high of 27 digs twice during the season, September 6 against UTSA, and September 13 against UTEP...Also posted 22 assists and 19 aces during the season.
2007 (Sophomore)
Caitlyn played in all 29 matches for the Wildcats and appeared in all but one game during the season...Played most of the season as the starting libero but also played outside hitter in a few matches...Finished the season with 491 digs, the second most in a season in Weber State history...Averaged 4.38 digs per game to finish the year sixth in the Big Sky...The average of 4.38 is the best single-season average in school history...Had ten or more digs in 24 of 29 matches during the year...Also had 20 or more kills ten times and 30 or more three times...On October 4 she shattered the Weber State school record for most digs in a match when she posted 41 digs in Weber State’s 3-2 win at Northern Colorado...That total was the most by any player in a match in the Big Sky this season by six digs and ranks in a tie for the fourth most digs in a match in conference history...The 41 digs broke the old record, held by current WSU assistant coach Melissa Leonard, by ten digs....She also had 31 digs two times during the season, at Utah Valley and at Idaho State...She now holds three of the top four spots for most digs in a match in school history...Was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Utah Valley LaQuinta Invitational...Caitlyn also finished the season with 37 kills, posting a season-high of 15 in WSU’s 3-2 win over Montana on October 13...Also posted 19 service aces, 16 assists, and eight blocks on the year.
2006 (Freshman)
Caitlyn played in all 33 matches for the Wildcats as a true freshman, one of just four players on the roster to play in all 33 matches...Started 24 of the 33 matches and played in all but four games during the season...Was third on the Weber State team in digs with 266 for an average of 2.29 per game...Posted double digits in digs in 11 matches during the season...Had a career-high of 18 digs September 2 in WSU’s 3-2 win over Binghamton where she also had a career-best 22 kills in the same match...Had three double-doubles during the year...Totaled 185 kills for an average of 1.59 per game and had double digits in kills in five matches...Was third on the Weber State team in aces with 21 and also had 40 blocks during the year.
Idaho Falls High School
Graduated from Idaho Falls High School where she earned high school letters in volleyball, basketball, and softball...Earned All-State honors in volleyball in each of her four years of high school...Following graduation she played in Italy with fellow Wildcat Chelsea Bair during the summer of 2006.

Caitlyn was born February 13, 1988 in Idaho Falls, Idaho...Mother is Shellie Bowman and grandparents are Gilbert and Leslie Anderson...Has one brother, Tyler age 25...Nicknames are CA and Caity.
