IRVINE, Calif. ‑‑ Michelle Martinez scored in the 73rd minute to give Cal State Bakersfield a 2‑1 victory over Weber State at the UC Irvine Invitational at Anteater Stadium Sunday afternoon.
Kristina Martin Del Campo stared the scoring for Cal State Bakersfield with a rebound goal off a Kassi Massey shot at 35:54. Weber State's Ari Wood knotted the score at 1‑1 with a blast from the left hand side at 61:18.
Martinez scored the game‑winner on the left side of the box at 73:30 from a Sarah Gaskins pass from the far left corner.
The Roadrunners go to 4‑5‑1 on the year, while Weber State falls to 2‑5‑1.
Wood and Alyssa Foutz, who scored twice in a 3-2 loss to UC Irvine on Friday, were both named to the All-Tournament Team.
