LOS CABOS, Baja California Sur, Mexico -- The Weber State men's golf team shot a two-under-par 286 in the second round to fuel an eighth place finish the Cabo del Sol Intercollegiate, which wrapped up on Tuesday at the Cabo del Sol resort.
The 286 was the second-best team score of the tournament, behind San Francisco's second round 284. It came on the resort's Desert course, which the Wildcats found much more to their liking than the Ocean course, where WSU shot rounds of 308 and 304, producing a three-round total of 898.
