OGDEN, Utah – Fresh off a critical four-point weekend, the Wildcats bid for a postseason berth comes down to a crucial two-match homestand.

The Weber State University women's soccer team welcomes Idaho and Eastern Washington to Wildcat Soccer Field on Friday and Sunday, respectively.

Kickoff with the Vandals is set for 7 p.m. on Friday night, while kickoff against Eastern Washington is set for 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Weber State (2-3-2 Big Sky, 3-10-2 overall) has eight points in the Big Sky Conference standings and sits just one point out of the postseason with three matches remaining.

Idaho, the two-time defending league regular season champion, is 1-5-1 in Big Sky action (5-9-2 overall), while Eastern Washington, last season's tournament champion and NCAA qualifier, is 6-0-1 in conference play and 12-4-1 overall heading into a Friday match with Idaho State in Pocatello, Idaho.

Weber State is 2-1-2 in its last five matches, earning four points this last weekend with a late road win over Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, Ariz., and a 1-1 draw with Sacramento State on Sunday in Ogden.

After a quiet start to the season, junior forward Morgan Quarnberg has taken over as Weber State's dominant offensive force, scoring five goals in the Wildcats' last five matches. Quarnberg leads the Big Sky Conference in goals scored in conference play, and has scored the match-winner in both of Weber State's recent wins.

Weber State and Idaho are meeting for the 10th time overall, with the Vandals holding a 3-5-1 record in those matches. In the three seasons since Idaho joined the Big Sky, the series is deadlocked at 1-1-1, with each team winning on the road as well as a draw at WSU last season.

The Wildcats and Eagles are meeting for the 21st time with Weber State leading 13-7-0. Eastern Washington has won the last three matchups in the series.

On Sunday, Weber State will honor three seniors – goalkeeper Sydnie Brough, midfielder Kelsi Jones, and forward Celeste Anderson – prior to the match.

After this weekend's matches, the Wildcats will wrap up the regular season on Oct. 27 against rival Idaho State in Pocatello, Idaho.
