LEADING OFF
• Weber State softball continues its 2018 season with the Red Desert Classic  where the Wildcats will face off against the Seattle, Nevada, Utah Valley twice and Boise State.

• The Wildcats will have one more tournaments on the road in Oregon.
• Weber State starts conference play March 23-24 at Southern Utah.
• WSU's first home games will be March 30-31 against Sacramento State.
WHAT'S GOOD?
• Weber State has 6-9 overall record to start the season.
• Weber State is currently No. 3 in the Big Sky Conference standings.
WILDCAT BREAKDOWN
•  The Wildcats are currently 6-9 on the season are coming off a 9-5 win to LMU.
•  Weber State is on a one game winning streak.
•  WSU is hitting .285 on the season and have a fielding percentage of .942.
•  Collectively, Weber State has an overall ERA of 3.30
•  Head Coach Mary Kay Amicone is in her fifth season leading the Wildcats and brought back one assistant, Kylee Street and added two this year in Mattie Snow and Kristin Delahoussaye.
SALTERN COMING THROUGH
In the third weekend of action for the Wildcats, sophomore Takesha Saltern came up with some big bats. She finished the weekend off hitting .529 recording nine hits, including one triple and brought in one RBI after stepping up to the plate 17 times. She also ran 11 total bases and finished the weekend with a powerful slug percentage of .556.
VICIOUS VISSER
Ashlyn Visser currently leads Weber State in home runs. She's knocked out six already this season. She hit four out at the LMU tournament and against Loyola Marymount hit homers in one game.

Senior Kirtlyn Bohling leads WSU in total strikeouts so far this year with 36. She has pitched a total of 41.2 innings, made 12 appearances and started in six different games. She has a 2-3 overall record so far this season. Bohling sits at No. 1 in the Big Sky for batters struck out looking with 36.
