Weber State scored the final seven points in overtime to seal a wild 95-88 win over Portland State Saturday night at Viking Pavilion in Portland.

The Wildcats played in their second-straight overtime game and never trailed in the extra period. The two teams were tied 88-88 with 41 seconds to play when Brekkott Chapman knocked down a three-pointer to give the 'Cats the lead. After a PSU missed 3-point attempt, Cody John made a layup with 15 seconds left. Then after another Viking miss, Jerrick Harding slammed the ball home to seal another executing win in Portland.

It was the third-straight overtime game Weber State has played at Portland State, with the Wildcats winning all three games.

"This was definitely a team win where everyone contributed and it was great to see," said Wildcat head coach Randy Rahe. "We made some big defensive stops and were able to limit their offensive rebounds, which was a big key and really had some guys step up for us."

Weber State shot a season-best 57.1 percent from the field, compared to 44 percent shooting for the Vikings. Weber State also outrebounded Portland State 41-32 after the Vikings entered the game 11th in the nation in rebounding margin.

WSU also had 50 points in the paint and finished 18 of 21 from the free throw line.

Harding again led Weber State, finishing with 23 points and was 8 of 8 from the free throw line.

Chapman had his fourth straight double-double as he finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds. All 19 of his points came in the second half. He was 7 fo 11 from the field and leads the conference with six double-doubles.

Zach Braxton had 18 points on 6 of 7 shooting and was 6 of 6 from the free throw line, in addition to six rebounds and two blocks. John added 17 points with three assists and two steals.

The win moves Weber State to 10-6 overall and 4-1 in Big Sky play. The 'Cats return home to host Idaho State on Thursday and Northern Colorado on Saturday.
