'Cats back home to host Portland State Thursday

Weber State returns home to close out the first half of Big Sky Conference regular season as the Wildcats host Portland State Thursday night at the Dee Events Center. The game will tipoff at 7 p.m. and will be streamed online for free on Pluto TV 235 and WatchBigSky.com as well as on the radio on 1430 KLO and kloradio.com. 

Steve Klauke and former Weber State standout and Big Sky MVP David Patten will be on the call.

TIPOFF

Weber State returns home and looks to bounce back after Saturday's loss at Montana.

The Wildcats are 13-7 overall and 7-2 in Big Sky play. 

Portland State is 8-11 overall and 3-5 in conference play but has won two straight games.

The game features the top two teams in the Big Sky in scoring offense, rebounding and blocked shots. 

Weber State leads the Big Sky in eight statistical categories. 

Portland State leads the nation in offensive rebounds and ranks in the top 10 in the country in steals, rebounding margin and total rebounds. 

The Wildcats defeated Portland State 95-88 in overtime on Jan. 12 in Portland. 

Weber State holds a 40-13 all-time series lead over the Vikings and the Wildcats have won seven-straight games. 

In games in Ogden, WSU is 23-2 all-time and the Wildcats have won 11 of the last 12 games played at the Dee Events Center.
