• In an ever-changing scheduling world, Weber State is back home to ring in 2021 on Saturday taking on in-state rival Utah Valley in a non-conference game at the Dee Events Center. Saturday's game will tipoff at 2:30 p.m. At this time, no spectators are allowed at the Dee Events Center but the game will be streamed online on Pluto TV 1054 and WatchBigSky.com and on the radio on 103.1 FM "The Wave".

• Weber State is 3-3 overall on the season. The Wildcats are coming off an 87-79 loss to BYU on Dec. 23 at the Vivint Smart Home Arena. WSU was scheduled to play Idaho State in two games this weekend but both games were canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the Bengal program. At this time, Big Sky games that are canceled will not be rescheduled. WSU has now had four games canceled this season but has added two games to the schedule, including Saturday's tilt with Utah Valley.

• After six games, senior Isiah Brown is second in the Big Sky Conference in scoring at 19.7 points per game. He is also third in the league in free throw percentage, fifth in assists and sixth in steals and has scored in double figures in all six games. Senior Cody Carlson is sixth in the nation in field goal percentage at 72.1 percent. Michal Kozak leads the conference in blocks at 1.5 per game and Dillon Jones leads the league in steals at 2.3 per game.

• Weber State currently ranks 15th in the nation in free throw percentage at 78.1 percent. The Wildcats also lead the conference in blocks and rank second in scoring offense and assists.

• Utah Valley is 4-2 overall on the season but the Wolverines have not played since Dec. 15. Their last game was at Utah on Dec. 15 and they have since had three-straight scheduled games canceled. Five Wolverines are currently averaging in double figures, led by Jamison Overton at 19.7 points per game. Fardaws Aimaq is second in the nation in rebounding at 14.5 rebounds per game.

• This will be the 14th all-time meeting between the two schools. The Wildcats hold a 7-6 series lead and WSU is 6-1 all-time against the Wolverines at the Dee Events Center.

• Through six games, Weber State is 3-1 when leading in field goal percentage and 0-2 when trailing. The Wildcats are also 3-0 when leading at halftime and 0-3 when trailing at the break.

• Saturday's game is the scheduled first of four-straight home games for the Wildcats. Weber State returns to Big Sky play next week hosting Eastern Washington on Jan. 7 and Jan. 9.
