Weber State to host Big Sky Cross Country Championships

OGDEN, UT - Weber State will host the Big Sky Cross Country Championships this Saturday, February 27th at the Riverside Golf Course in Riverdale, Utah. The Women's 5K Championship race will begin at 1:15 pm.

Wildcats who will be racing include: Summer Allen, Rebekah Geddes, Shanee Harris, Billie Hatch, Cheyenne Leatham, Rylie Lusk, Tess McInelly, Bailey Wall, and Bailey Winter. Summer Allen and Billie Hatch are coming off of a great performance at the Silver State Collegiate Challenge in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 1st. Allen finished 9th in the 5K with a time of 20:17.0, and Hatch finished 11th with a time of 20:23.7.

Spectators will not be allowed to attend the Championships.

Race Day Schedule
11:45 a.m. - Course is open for competitors to warm up
1:00 p.m. - National Anthem
1:05 p.m. - Women's competitors must report to assigned boxes
1:15 p.m. - Women's 5k Championship Race
1:50 p.m. - Men's competitors must report to assigned boxes
2:00 p.m. - Men's 8k Championship Race
3:00 p.m. - Awards Ceremony
