Wildcat soccer gears up to host two games against SUU

OGDEN, UT - The Weber State women's soccer team will host a pair of games against Southern Utah University on Friday, March 26th at 3:30 pm, and Sunday, March 28th at 1:00 pm. The games will be played on the Wildcat Soccer Field in Ogden, Utah.
The series record between the Wildcats and Thunderbirds is currently 8-4-1 for the 'Cats, and 5-1 at home. The last game between the teams took place in the fall of 2019 in Cedar City, Utah, with a double-overtime tie. In the fall of 2018, the Wildcats hosted the Thunderbirds and defeated them 5-2. Weber State has scored a total of 25 goals against Southern Utah.
The Thunderbirds are currently 1-2-1 overall, and 0-2 in Big Sky Conference play. Both games against Northern Colorado were canceled on March 12th and 14th, and SUU fell to NAU 2-3, and 0-3 on March 19th and 21st, respectively. The Thunderbirds are a relatively young team, with only one senior.
The 'Cats are 0-1 in Big Sky Conference play, the team's 0-1 loss coming from NAU on March 14th. The game scheduled for March 13th was canceled due to inclement weather. The Wildcats have scored three goals this season, coming from Jasmine Lotey, Kinsley Napoli, and Taylor Scadlock. Weber State will honor six seniors on Sunday, March 28th: Mylee Broad (#7), Jasmine Lotey (#10), Cambrie Lake (#14), Haley Thomas (#18), Grace Youngberg (#23), and Kylie Harris (#24).
