Summer Allen qualifies for NCAA Cross Country Championships

OGDEN, UT - Summer Allen has earned an individual qualification to compete in the 2020 NCAA Division I Women's Cross Country Championship. Thirty-eight individuals were chosen to participate in the championships through an automatic qualifier and at-large selection process.
Allen performed well at the Big Sky Cross Country Championships on February 27th. The women ran a 5K course race on Riverside Golf Course in snowy and cold weather. Allen finished second overall with a time of 17:08.7 to earn the at-large selection for the NCAA Championships.
The Championships will be held on Monday, March 15th, 2021, at the OSU Cross Country Course in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Oklahoma State University will host the meet. Live coverage of the NCAA Championships will be available on ESPNU and the ESPN App starting at 12:30 pm Eastern time. Results for the championship will be available here.Â
Allen will be competing against the best cross country athletes in the country, including individuals from Alabama, Arkansas, BYU, Colorado, Florida State, Northern Arizona, Oklahoma State, Portland, Stanford, and more. The course will be 6,000 meters.
