'Cats Head to the Northwest for the Harbottle Invitational

OGDEN, Utah – The Weber State women's golf team heads to Tacoma, Wash. this week to compete in the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, hosted by Seattle University at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club on Oct. 2nd and 3rd.
The tournament is a 54-hole event, with 36 holes of play on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Play will begin at 9:00 a.m. Mountain on both days.
The Tacoma Country and Golf Club features a par 72, 6,078-yard layout.
Joining Weber State and tournament host-Seattle in the 21-team field are Cal State Bakersfield, Cal State Fullerton, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Houston Christian, Idaho, Nevada, North Dakota, Portland State, Santa Clara, Sacred Heart, South Dakota, UC Irvine, UC Riverside and Wyoming.
Suiting up for the Wildcats in the tournament will be Isabel Gutierrez, Jessica Zelasko, Sofia Fuenmayor, Emily Song and Cala Korman.
Last week, the WSU women finished off the Big Sky Conference-hosted 54 for IX tournament with a fourth place finish after shooting a three-round total of 873 at TalonsCove Golf Club. Gutierrez led the way with an 11th place finish at 2-under par 214. Zelasko, Fuenmayor and Song also finished inside the top-25.
Last season at the Harbottle Invitational, the Wildcats came up just one shot shy of the tournament title, finishing second to Gonzaga with a 9-over par total of 873.
