Wildcat cross country is back and set to compete at the NCAA Mountain Regionals in Reno, Nevada on November 15.

The 10K race will be held at the Washoe Golf Course and it is set to start at 1 pm MT

"The Mountain Region is always very competitive. This might be the deepest year for both teams and individuals. The race will be extremely challenging," head coach Corbin Talley said. "I am excited to move up in distance to the 10K instead of the 8K that we've raced throughout the rest of the season."

The 'Cats are coming off of a third place team finish at the Big Sky Championships on November 1. The team tallied 68 points and was led by Peter Visser with a fourth place finish.

Weber State's lineup will include:
Peter Visser, Jr.
Ty Davis, Jr.
Wesley Kallgren, Jr.
Taylor Knight, Jr.
Evan Harris, Fr.
Hanokh Gailson, Jr.
Tanner Rogers, So.

"I think our guys are well prepared for a slightly longer race," Talley said. "We're healthy and looking great in practice, and I think we're capable of surprising some teams who are ranked ahead of us. We are looking forward to having our best race of the season."

The race will have live stats recorded through Record Timing (https://rt.trackscoreboard.com/meets/11152424/events).

Following the race and if qualified, the 'Cats will compete at the NCAA Championships on November 23 in Madison, Wisconsin.
