Salt Lake City, UT - Weber State softball fell 3-0 in Salt Lake City against the Utah Utes.Â

The Wildcats return to the diamond April 19-20 for a home series against the Sacramento State Hornets. First pitch Friday is scheduled for 1 p.m.

- Utah found their way onto the board in the bottom of the third bringing in three runs off of two Wildcat errors.
- Offense was lacking for Weber State as no Wildcat player found home plate.Â
- Brooke Merrill pitched a complete game and struck out four of the Utes.
- Abby Grundy went 2 for 3 on the day. Mia Rushton and Makayla Donahoo both went 1 for 3. The trio combined for all four of Weber State's hits. The rest of the team went hitless in 25 at-bats.Â
