Wildcats Wrap Falcon Invitational with 13th Place Finish

USAFA, Colo. – The Weber State men's golf team concluded the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational on Monday with a final round 301 to post a 54-hole total of 886 to finish in 13th place in the 22-team field.
The Wildcats opened up the tournament over the first two days with rounds of 299 and 286.
Colorado State shot 14-under par for the tournament to take the team championship, coming in nine shots clear of second place Utah State. The Rams were led by individual medalist Matthew Wilkinson, who shot a 10-under par total of 206.
Matthew Wilson and Bobby Kincaid each shot 75 on the final day, finishing in 34th and 43rd place, respectively. Wilson shot a 4-over par 220 for the tournament, while Kincaid came in at 6-over par 222.
Ty Anderson shot the best round of the day for WSU, posting a 2-over par 74 to finish in a tie for 51st at 8-over par 224. Cormack Goecke joined Anderson in the tie for 51st at 224 after shooting a final round 78.
Luke Smith shot a 77 on Monday and finished at 10-over par 226 and in a tie for 65th.
