Weber State and Eastern Washington will meet Saturday afternoon at the Dee Events Center.

• Weber State continues its homestand with another Big Sky as the Wildcats host Eastern Washington on Saturday afternoon.

• The Wildcats and Eagles will tipoff at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon at the Dee Events Center in Ogden. The game will be televised on ESPN+ and the ESPN app with Tony Parks and former Weber State head coach Joe Cravens calling the action.

The Weber State radio broadcast will be on 103.1 FM "The Wave" with Carl Arky and former Weber State standout and Big Sky MVP David Patten on the call.

Live stats are available at WeberStateSports.com and the Weber State Wildcats app.

• Weber State is 8-14 overall and 2-6 in conference play following Thursday's 82-74 loss to Idaho. After playing five of the first seven conference games on the road (the most in the Big Sky), Weber State is in the midst of a four-game homestand and will close the conference season with seven of the final 11 games at home. This is the first time the 'Cats will play four-straight conference home games since 2014.

• Weber State senior Blaise Threatt continued his strong play with 19 points, a career-high eight assists, and six rebounds in Thursday's game. Threatt has scored in double figures in all 20 of his games played and leads the conference and is 25th in the nation in steals at 2.2 per game. He ranks second in the conference in scoring at 17.7 points per game, and is also third in assist to turnover ratio, third in minutes played, fourth in assists, and sixth in field goal percentage.

In his six conference games, he is averaging 18.7 points, 5.0 assists, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game.

• Three other Wildcats scored in double figures in Thursday's game. Dyson Koehler had 13 points with two 3-pointers. Viljami Vartiainen added 11 points and made three 3-pointers, and freshman Trevor Hennig had 10 points.

• As the calendar changes to February, Weber State is hoping to build off past success in the second month of the year. In the last two years under head coach Eric Duft, the Wildcats are 13-4 in the month of February, including a 7-1 record in February last year.

• Weber State continues to lead the Big Sky in 3-point field goal percentage at 35.7 percent. The 'Cats are shooting 37.3 percent from 3-point range in Big Sky games.

• Eastern Washington enters Saturday's game at 6-16 overall and currently in 10th in the Big Sky at 2-7. The Eagles have lost their last five games, including a 78-70 loss at Idaho State on Thursday night. EWU started Big Sky play at 2-4 with wins over Montana State and Sacramento State, before the five-game losing streak. The Eagles are just 1-11 on the road this season.

• The Eagles lead the Big Sky and is 44th in the nation in free throw percentage at 75.9 percent. EWU is also second in the league in steals and third in turnover margin per game.

• EWU was 21-11 overall last season and repeated as Big Sky regular season champions with a 15-3 record. However, for the second-straight year, the Eagles lost in the first game of the Big Sky Tournament as they fell to 10-seed Sacramento State. EWU has won three of the last five Big Sky regular season titles.

• The Eagles have a new leader this season in longtime college basketball head coach Dan Monson, who took over at EWU last April. Monson is in his 28th season as a college basketball head coach with stops at Gonzaga, Minnesota, and Long Beach State, before taking over at Eastern Washington. He has 451 wins in his coaching career.

• This will be the 83rd all-time meeting with Weber State leading the series 51-31. The two teams split last season, with each team winning on the road. Prior to WSU's win last February in Cheney, the Eagles had won four straight and seven of the previous eight games against the Wildcats.

• In games in Ogden, Weber State is 51-10 all-time but the Eagles have won the last two and five of the last six games at the Dee Events Center.

• Weber State has nine players coming from six different countries on this year's roster.  The 'Cats have three players from Canada, two from Serbia, and one each from England, Finland, Montenegro, and Japan.

• The Wildcats continue the homestand on Saturday hosting Northern Arizona on Monday night, which will also be the annual Mascot Night. The 'Cats will then host Idaho State next Saturday.
