Wildcats head to BYU for final regular season meet

The Weber State men's track and field team will compete at the BYU Robison Invitational this week in Provo, in the final regular season meet of the outdoor season.Â
The meet will be held Wednesday-Saturday at the Clarence Robison track in Provo and will include athletes from all throughout Utah as well as Idaho State, San Diego State, and other smaller area schools. Live meet results are available through SportTrax.Â
The action will run all week, but Weber State will primarily compete on Wednesday and Thursday.Â
It will be the final opportunity for the 'Cats to prepare before the Big Sky Championships, which will be held May 14-17 in Sacramento.Â
"We are excited to see some late season performances after a lot of hard work and preparation," said WSU head coach Corbin Talley. "The weather is looking prime, and we hope to lay down a number of season bests on the track and in the field. Some highlights for us this week should come in the relays, hammer, javelin, decathlon, and middle distance races."Â
