Weber State had three freshman records at the BYU meet, the final meet before the Big Sky Championships.

Weber State had its final meet before the Big Sky Championships, and the Wildcats finished the regular season with several all-time performances.

Weber State set three freshman records, had multiple spots on the all-time top 10 list, and had several seasonal best performances at the BYU Robison Invitational this week in Provo.

Freshman Jae Macias set two freshman records in the sprints. He set a freshman record in the 100 meters with a time of 10.45, which is also the third fastest in WSU history. He followed that up on Saturday with another freshman record in the 200 meters with a time of 21.22, which ranks seventh in WSU history.

In the 800 meters, the Wildcats had more outstanding performances as Colby Jenks set a freshman record and posted the second best time in the event in WSU history. He ran a time of 1:47.69 in the event, which is the second-fastest ever and the best 800 meters time at Weber State in 50 years. Dan Dean holds the school record at 1:46.8, set in 1975, the longest standing time of any WSU school record. Jenks' time will also qualify him for the NCAA West Region meet, and is currently the third best in the Big Sky this season.

Also in the 800 meters, Joe Corbridge posted the fourth-best time in WSU history in the event with a career best time of 1:48.73, and will also be an NCAA First Round qualifying time.

Peter Visser and Owen Rogers both had seasonal best times in the mile run that will both convert to seasonal bests in the 1500 meters.

Freshman Alex Maxfield won the 10,000 meters with a career best time of 31:39.87.

Weber State won the 4x400 meter relay and was second in the 4x100 meter relay.

In the field events, Tyler Warnick finished second in the decathlon with a total of 7,102 points. That ranks as the fifth-best in WSU history and is currently the second-best in the Big Sky. That mark also qualifies him for the NCAA West Region meet and is a U.S. U20 qualifying mark. Brogan Garrett was third in the decathlon with a seasonal best total of 6,670 points.

Freshman Seth Hall won the title in the long jump with a mark of 24-02.25. WSU also had seasonal bests by Cole Murray and Blaine Anderson in the discus.

Up next for the Wildcats will be the 2026 Big Sky Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which will be held May 13-16 in Portland, Oregon.
