Weber State looks to earn its first win against the Cowgirls
OGDEN, Utah – Weber State soccer hits the road Thursday as the Wildcats travel to Laramie, Wyoming, to take on Wyoming at 4 p.m. at the Madrid Sports Complex.
The Wildcats enter Thursday's match looking to bounce back after falling 4-1 to Boise State in their 2026 home opener Sunday. Weber State recorded nine shots in the home match, including five on goal, while sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Butorac made eight saves.
Sayler Schlosser led the Wildcats offensively against the Broncos, recording four shots with three on goal and scoring Weber State's lone goal of the match. Oakley Anderson added an assist on Schlosser's goal.
Weber State opened the season with a scoreless draw against Utah before Sunday's loss to Boise State. The Wildcats will look to earn their first win of the season on the road.
Wyoming enters Thursday's match with a 2-0 record after opening the season with a 1-0 victory over Drake before defeating Northern Colorado 3-0 in the Front Range Derby. The Cowgirls have yet to allow a goal this season.
