Chapman leads Wildcats to fourth-straight win

OGDEN - Four players scored in double figures as Weber State won its fourth-straight game, with a 77-52 win over Northern Arizona Thursday night at the Dee Events Center.
The win moves the Wildcats to 9-5 overall and 3-0 in Big Sky play.
Brekkott Chapman led the Wildcats with his fourth double-double of the season as he finished with 17 points and a career-high 16 rebounds and had five assists and two blocks and two steals.
Weber State started out slow as NAU jumped out to an early 7-0 lead and then led 20-14 with 7:00 left in the first half, but Weber State responded by closing the first half on a 17-7 run and held a 31-27 lead at the break.
It was all Weber State in the second half as the 'Cats started the half on a 25-5 run and never looked back.
Weber State shot 48 percent from the field, including 56 percent shooting in the second half. The 'Cats also held NAU to 31 percent shooting and the 52 points scored is the lowest allowed by the Wildcats in a game this season.
WSU was just 3 of 23 from the 3-point line but finished 12 of 16 from the free throw line and the 'Cats outrebounded the Lumberjacks 46-34 and WSU had 46 points in the paint.
Jerrick Harding and Cody John each added 14 points for the Wildcats and Zach Braxton finished with 12 points and six rebounds.
Weber State is back home Saturday night to host Southern Utah at 7 p.m.
