Wildcats roll past Bengals to improve to 6-1 in Big Sky play

OGDEN - Weber State rolled to a 95-63 win over Idaho State Thursday night in the second game of the week against the Bengals.
Four Wildcats scored in double figures as Weber State won its third straight game to improve to 13-5 overall and remained in first place in the Big Sky at 6-1.
How it happened
The Wildcats went on a 9-0 run and jumped out to a 21-6 lead early in the game and never looked back. Idaho State came back to cut the lead to 10 points but never got closer the rest of the way.
Numbers to know
Weber State shot 55 percent from the field and held the Bengals to 40 percent shooting. The 'Cats knocked down seven 3-pointers and outrebounded ISU 39-33.
JJ Overton tied his season-high with 21 points to lead the Wildcats. He was 10 of 14 from the field and had five rebounds and three assists. Koby McEwen added 13 points with six rebounds and four assists, while Dillon Jones also had 13 points and six rebounds. Seikou Sisoho Jawara added 13 points and dished out five assists and Dontay Bassett had nine points and seven rebounds.
WSU also forced 15 turnovers and had 22 points off turnovers. They also had nine steals and three blocked shots.

The Wildcats now prepare for three road games next week, starting Monday night in Cedar City against Southern Utah.
