GAME NOTES: Wildcats Head North to Face Aggies

Weber State Wildcat softball is slated to finish a four-game stretch against in-state opponents on Tuesday afternoon against the Utah State Aggies. First pitch, weather permitting, is set for 4:00 PM at LaRee and LeGrand Johnson Field in Logan, Utah.
WEBER STATE (22-7)
-With a 22-7 record through the first 29 games of the season, the Wildcats are off to far and away their best start in school history.
-Since rebooting the program in 2010, Weber State trails the overall series against the Aggies 8-13, Utah State has won the last two matchups between the two teams.
-Weber State is coming off its first win against the University of Utah since 2019. The win gives the Wildcats their third overall win against a power five team this season (Kansas, Texas A&M, Utah), which ties the most wins against power five teams in a season in school history.
-WSU has a 5-1 record against teams from the Mountain West Conference this season, with two wins against Nevada, two against UNLV, and one against San Diego State.
--Earlier this season the Wildcats won 12 consecutive games which set a record for longest winning streak in program history.
-The game against Utah State will be Weber State's last game prior to Big Sky Conference play.
Wildcat Pitching
-As a team, the Wildcats lead the Big Sky Conference with a 2.76 ERA.
-Wildcat pitching has surrendered less hits, runs, earned runs, doubles, triples, and home runs than anybody else in the Big Sky.
-WSU pitchers are holding opponents to a .237 batting average which is best in the conference.
-Arissa Henderson's 1.84 ERA ranks second in the Big Sky conference. Amanda Sink is in fifth place with an ERA of 2.60.
Wildcat Offense
-The Cats hit four home runs in their 9-5 victory against Utah on Sunday, setting a new team season high for most home runs in a game.
-With 26 home runs on the season, the Wildcats have hit the second most home runs in the conference.
-Chloe Camarero ranks in the top five in the Big Sky in runs scored (23), home runs (9), and stolen bases (6).
-Faith Hoe leads the team in batting average (.360) and hits (32) on the season.
-Henderson has hit three home runs in her last three games and has five total for the season.
