St. Louis (2-5, 0-0)
-Weber State and St. Louis have never played each other in program history.
-St. Louis enters the weekend with a 2-5 record, its wins coming over Valparaiso and St. Thomas.
-The Bilikens are led by Christy Connoyer who is in her 12th season in charge of the program

Utah Tech (5-5, 0-0)
- The Wildcats and Trailblazers have squared off 12 times in program history. Tech holds a 5-7 edge in the all-time series between the two schools, but Weber State is on a two game winning streak in the series.
-Utah Tech's wins have come against St. Mary's, Hawaii (x2), Fairleigh Dickinson, and San Diego.
-This tournament will open Tech's home schedule for the 2023 season.
-The Trailblazers were picked 8th in the WAC preseason coaches poll.

SISTER ACT

Weber State - a program that stresses the importance of family - practices what it preaches. The Wildcats feature a pair of sisters on their roster with Faith Hoe and Lauren Hoe, as well as Emily Ruhl and Sarah Ruhl. There are only six other teams in the nation that have a pair of twins on their roster (Arizona State, Colorado State, Northwestern State, Texas A&M - Corpus Christi, UT Martin, Utah State), and only one other team (Arizona State) that has a set of twins in addition to another set of sisters.

CHASING HISTORY

Lauren Hoe's home run against Baylor moved her into sole possession of second place for most career home runs in Weber State history. She currently has 25 home runs and is nine behind the all-time record set Sarah Hingsberger.

ANY TIME, ANY PLACE

The Wildcats are facing what is certainly the toughest schedule in program history. WSU will be playing 15 games against teams that qualified for the 2022 NCAA tournament, and is slated to play ten teams who were ranked in the initial top 25 rankings of the 2023 season.
